Plasencia are known for their premium Nicaraguan cigars. The Alma Fuente Sixto II is noteable not only for its hexagonal shape, but also being an amazing smoke.
The El Viejo Continente Maduro Lancero cigar has cemented my opinion that this is one of the most delicious, beautiful and complex vitolas available.
One of the first premium cigar brands I smoked was Jose L Piedra. Since then the Jose L Piedra Cazadores has become a favourite and I always keep a few to hand.
The Epic San Andres Project E is a medium bodied cigar. From beginning to end a rich smoothness was a constant companion to the changing flavours in this cigar.
On a friend’s recommendation, I tried a Flor de Selva Robusto. It didn’t look or sound like my usual cigar but it may end up being one of my cigars of the year!
Hiram & Solomon serve up a beautifully constructed cigar full of delicious flavours in their Master Mason. Fun ensued when I shared this cigar with a friend.
The Partagas D4 is one of the first Cuban cigars I ever had. Since that first stick, it has remained a firm favourite and regular fixture aging in my humidor.
What a revelation this cigar was! The Hiram and Solomon Shriner Toro is the perfect cigar to accompany good conversation with excellent company.
Go big or go home! The Asylum Schizo Hercule is a lot of cigar for a small price. My first thoughts were “that’s an obscene cigar”. What did I think by the end?
